Oncologic Imaging Staging Annotation

Remote · Global Hourly Currently live $25–$45/hr
Overview

Annotate AI-generated cancer staging derived from imaging findings, rating whether the imaging interpretation and the resulting oncologic staging/treatment implications are both correct.

About this job

We're seeking radiologists and oncologists to annotate AI-generated outputs that combine imaging interpretation (tumor size, location, nodal involvement, metastatic spread) with the resulting cancer stage and treatment implications. This task spans two distinct judgment calls: whether the imaging findings themselves are read correctly, and whether the staging/treatment reasoning drawn from those findings is oncologically sound. Each rating becomes a labeled training example used to fine-tune and reward-calibrate the model.

What you'll do
  • Confirm or correct AI-identified imaging findings (tumor size, nodal status, metastatic sites).
  • Rate whether the derived TNM stage or equivalent is correctly assigned from those findings.
  • Assess whether treatment implications drawn from the staging are clinically appropriate.
  • Flag discrepancies between the imaging read and the staging conclusion.
  • Reference current staging systems (AJCC/UICC TNM) and NCCN guidelines while rating.
  • Apply a structured rubric consistently across the case batch.
  • Note the reasoning behind the rating given, specific to your area of expertise.
